We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will handle a high volume of invoices efficiently and ensure accuracy in billing processes. This is a Contract-to-continuing position, offering the opportunity to grow within the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Process a large volume of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage and maintain billing records to ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare and distribute billing statements in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to address billing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Utilize computerized billing systems to streamline workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to billing.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding payment and collection-related issues.
- Generate reports related to billing activities for internal use.
- Support the team in improving billing processes to enhance efficiency.
- Provide assistance during audit processes by furnishing required billing documentation.
- Proven experience in billing functions, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with computerized billing systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in invoices and records.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Ability to analyze and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Proficiency in preparing and handling billing statements.
- Knowledge of billing collection processes and related best practices.
