We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Billing Clerk, you will be an integral part of our team, with a focus on managing ticket resolution. Your role involves maintaining accurate customer credit records, processing customer applications, and communicating with internal teams to resolve issues.
Responsibilities :
- Process customer applications efficiently while ensuring accuracy
- Take full ownership of the ticket closure process, ensuring all steps are completed and issues are resolved before closing
- Maintain accurate and complete ticket information, identifying any discrepancies or incomplete tickets and taking corrective action as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments or teams to ensure timely ticket closure and effective resolution of issues
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to clarify ticket details and resolve issues
- Document ticket updates and statuses effectively, ensuring all information is properly documented
- Provide feedback and support to team members to improve processes
- Manage deadlines efficiently and work under pressure to meet performance targets
- Adapt to new processes, tools, or changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a detail oriented demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Experience with About Time software
- Familiarity with billing procedures and practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to identify and rectify discrepancies
- Experience in closing billing cycles
- Capable of resolving issues promptly and effectively
- Proficiency in 10-key typing skills
- General computer skills
- Knowledge of ticketing systems
- Ability to take corrective action when necessary
- Experience working with internal teams
- Maintains a detail oriented demeanor at all times
- Ability to meet performance targets
- Proficiency in a Windows environment
- Experience with photocopying and scanning documents.
