Come and join us... A key member of our Senior Culinary team, youll report directly to our Executive Chef. Heading up the Staffearn Restaurant is one of the most important culinary roles across the Estate;
this is where the whole team enjoys breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between. From our Equestrian grooms and Greenkeepers whove been working hard since dawn, to our Room Service and Cleaning teams working through the night, youll provide them with a sustaining balance of fantastic home cooked, comforting food with a focus on healthy options.
Your innovation will keep our menus fresh and exciting and our colleagues coming back for more! This role covers our core day operation and we are open to having a conversation with you around flexible working.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role :
- Constantly developing Culinary trends and ensuring we consistently exceed the expectations of our colleagues in the Staffearn Restaurant
- Youll continually benchmark with High street offerings, seeing whats new and popular and bringing variety, choice and excitement to keep our people well fed
- Developing a calendar of Culinary events using seasonal products to showcase innovation and fresh new offers including themed pop ups;
youll canvass views and seek to fulfil the most popular requests
- Implementing an ongoing procedure and process, within the Staffearn kitchen, which will develop the menu calendar, planning for all balanced menu changes, taking inspiration from around the world
- Working closely with your Culinary and the Front of House teams, youll build strong relationships and ensure great communication at all times
- Leading the Staffearn Brigade by example, youll support their recruitment, learning & development and career progression, living and instilling our Gleneagles values
- Interacting with your colleagues, always warm, professional, helpful and playing your part in making their visit to the Staffearn Restaurant 5 star in every way

- Ideally, youve built your experience within the corporate dining sector or in good quality restaurants with tasty home cooked food
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive can do attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
