Department Details

The schedule for this position varies, but it's essentially 7 shifts per pay period (or 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the other week) and every other weekend. Shifts during the week are about 10.5 hours long and start at 10 : 30am, weekend shifts are about 9 hours long and start at 9am. The route that this position will cover is our Brookings route which goes to De Smet, Clark, Aberdeen, Webster, Watertown, and Brookings.

Job Summary

This position may have access to medications and / or specimens for purposes of distributing. Transports multiple items that may include any of the following : medical records, lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical supplies, x-rays, correspondence, freight, and miscellaneous items to ensure efficient flow of information and materials throughout various locations as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to follow both structured and flexible delivery schedule. Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Driver history must comply with Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability. Current valid driver's license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
