Job descriptionWeekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling options Manage a diverse patient panel of approximately 15-20 patients per day with a focus on both hematology and oncology. Conduct up to 4 new consults per day, with follow-up appointments scheduled accordingly. Responsible for admitting new patients and handling hospital and ER calls. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology Active BLS certification Eligible for credentialing in 90-120 days Regular outpatient hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM On-call responsibilities for hospital and ER include phone calls and in-hospital duties. Proficiency with EPIC EMR for documentation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage a high-volume patient load efficiently
Job Description
Join an established healthcare team as a Locum Tenens Medical Oncologist in a dynamic outpatient clinic with hospital call responsibilities. This opportunity is based in a comprehensive medical center where you will be responsible for both hematology and oncology patients. The schedule offers a balanced array of outpatient consults and follow-ups, with an additional component of hospital and ER call duties in the evenings and weekends.
