GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE :

\n

The Service Technician position is responsible for providing customer service and maintenance functions to Loram customers within a specific region. Maintaining unit uptime to customer expectations is critical to customer satisfaction, railroad fuel economy, and railroad’s wheel / rail life.

• Build customer and supplier relations for improved products and services.
• Work with Sales Department to ensure customer expectations are met.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

\n

\n

Experience : High School Diploma / Equivalent

\n

\n

Licenses / Certifications :   Maintain railroad safety training and certifications

\n

Ability to obtain a CDL.

\n

\n

\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

\n

\n

Education : Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical

\n

Experience : 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role

\n

2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills

\n

\n

\n

COMPENSATION :

Loram determines compensation based on factors\nsuch as skills, competencies, education, and / or experience. Certain positions\nmay be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base\ncompensation.

Starting pay for the position is between $21.00 - $24.00 / hr.
