SET THE COURSE

The Application Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of applications within Tommy Bahama. This position requires practical hands-on experience, and a thorough understanding of application administration to ensure applications are running smoothly, address user issues, and implement new applications or updates.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

Function

• Configure, install, and maintain Tommy Bahama's IT application infrastructure. This includes hardware, software, and peripheral equipment connected to the Tommy Bahama network.
• Provide advanced applications, operating system, and hardware support. Typical tasks include systems and user administration, integration, report development, technical and operational support, training, and documentation.
• Provide daily operational support for the company’s internal applications including restaurant systems, eCommerce systems, corporate tools, and other systems as needed.
• Perform project management for infrastructure and application related projects.
• Provide Tier 3 (escalation from IT Service Desk) support for issues that arise at 150+ retail, 20+ restaurant locations, and corporate locations, including remote workers.
• Configure equipment and systems at new restaurant locations, assist with installations remotely and training.
• Provide technical assistance and reporting for PCI and SOX compliance programs.
• Troubleshoot Tier 3 application incidents and work with IT teams and vendors to resolve issues
• Identify and develop reports and/or functions where vendor-provided software does not meet the business requirements and customization or process are required.
• Create and maintain technical/operational test plans for new software patches and releases.
• Create and maintain business process and support/trouble-shooting documentation as they relate to systems.
• Assist in the identification and management of user training, including creating documentation.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

• 4+ years application administrator experience preferred.
• Microsoft certification or equivalent work experience.
• Basic coding or scripting a plus.
• Experience in Windows server administration and Office 365 tools desired.
• Experience with hybrid and Cloud environments, preferably Azure desired.
• Direct and hands on experience with Network or Systems management applications.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with change management processes and ticketing systems.
• Experience with Atlassian (Jira & Confluence) ServiceNow, and SharePoint preferred.
• Experience working in a complex multi-location organization preferred.
• Ability to recognize the complexities of business problems and use of technology to solve them.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and ability to translate needs of customers, staff, management and support departments into technology solutions.
• Excellent organizational time management skills. Manage and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks.
• Ability to think strategically and tactically.
• Ability to drive tasks to completion in the context of excellent working relationships with all parties.
• Ability to quickly comprehend/learn new processes, systems, and methods.
• Ability to work through problems independently.
• Demonstrated ability to meet Service Level Agreements in resolving incidents and requests.

• Occasionally able to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds as required
• Occasionally able to bend, stoop, and/or kneel as required

Rate Range: $78,000.00 to $124,400.00 annually
