$298,000 to $460,000 per year

About The Position

Endocrinology Opportunity in New Orleans, Louisiana

Join a hospital-connected endocrinology practice in the New Orleans metro area with a steady referral base and balanced schedule. This outpatient-focused position offers strong support, minimal call, and immediate volume, ideal for physicians who want to focus on high-quality patient care while enjoying a vibrant, culturally rich lifestyle.

Practice Overview

  • You'll join a team of 2 endocrinologists and 2 APPs, supported by MAs, LPNs, and an embedded dietician
  • 100% adult endocrinology with broad case mix : diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, osteoporosis, obesity, and more
  • Brand-new clinic located in the medical tower attached to a community hospital
  • Inpatient consults shared across team; no procedures required

Schedule

  • 4.5 clinic days and 0.5 admin day per week
  • Clinic hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM
  • 50 patient visits per week on average; 30-minute new and 15-minute follow-up visits
  • Shared call rotation, low volume and mostly phone-based

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary plus $50 per wRVU; expected annual volume of 6,100+ wRVUs
  • Signing bonus and relocation assistance included
  • Full benefits : medical, dental, vision, retirement, malpractice (no tail)
  • CME time and allowance included; no non-compete clause

    • Candidate Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Louisiana
  • Comfortable managing CGMs, insulin pumps, and broad endocrine conditions
  • J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available
