Small Business Financial Administrator / Controller

The role of a Small Business Financial Administrator encompasses comprehensive management of the financial operations within the companys diverse revenue streams. This position involves overseeing billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, 401(k) management, and healthcare insurance plans, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the billing process for the companys three revenue streams.
• Oversee the collections process for accounts receivable.
• Process incoming vendor invoices and execute payments via ACH Funds Transfer or check.
• Handle payroll processing and all related transactions including expense reimbursements and loan payments.
• Administer the companys 401(k) Plan, managing employee enrollments and contributions.
• Oversee healthcare insurance and employee benefits plan setup and enrollment.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Maintain the prepaid expenses account with accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile bank statements on a timely basis.
• Manage and account for company credit card transactions monthly.
• Coordinate with a CPA firm for the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns as required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
