Linux Systems Admin Engineer

Responsibilities

Peratons Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Systems Engineer / Systems Administrator to join our diverse team at our Herndon VA office. The candidate will be responsible for integrating and troubleshooting deployed systems.

As a Systems Engineer / Systems Administrator you will do among the following :

• Onboard new microservices ensuring smooth deployment and troubleshooting as needed.
• Monitor systems daily and ensure timely monthly OS patching software updates AV / AM updates for all assigned systems
• Troubleshoot Windows Server and 10 / 11 client and application performance issues recommending effective solutions.
• Rapidly address and resolve customer issues through a ticketing tracking system.

Target Salary Range

$104000 - $166000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
