American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of Level I / II trauma and large hospital experience for weekend coverage in an acute care setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an acute care hospital with 223 inpatient beds attached to a multidisciplinary clinicWork in the Radiology department with general CR-DR imaging, fluoroscopy, c-arm, cartography, and trauma casesPatient population includes trauma and acute care patientsShifts are straight weekends : Friday 9a-9p, Saturday 9a-9p, and Sunday 7a-7p, with additional day or evening shifts as neededCall is required and independent work is expectedFloating may be required to the OR, ER, and throughout the hospital for portable x-rayEquipment includes GE, Phillips, Carestream, Toshiba, PACS (McKesson), and EMR (EPIC); PACS and Epic charting experience preferredDuties include performing general diagnostic imaging, trauma cases, fluoroscopy, c-arm procedures, and portable x-raysTraining provided on hospital equipment, protocols, and EMR usageGray hospital scrubs are suppliedAll clinicians must badge in and out of the facilityReturning travelers must have a 6-month gap from any previous employment with the health system to be consideredLocal travelers are not accepted if they have a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent radiology technologist experience, including Level I / II trauma and large hospital (400+ beds) experienceActive ARRT certification and BLS requiredND State Licensure required or willingness to obtain prior to startProficiency in general radiography, trauma imaging, CR-DR, fluoroscopy, and c-arm proceduresLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
