Locum Tenens Outpatient Neurologist Needed Near FORK UNION, VA Job ID: J-203449 Job Details: Practice Setting: Office / Ambulatory Clinic Reason for Coverage: Support access for the community - physician retiring Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm M-F; NO CALL Coverage Type: 100% Outpatient Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: 12-16 Presence of Other Neurologists: Yes Group Composition: 11 physicians, 10 APP's Onsite Labs: Yes Ancillary Staff: 1 RN, 4 LPN, 1 MA Office Equipment: EMG, Doppler EMR: Epic MANDATED Job Requirements: Board Certified: REQUIRED Active VA License: HIGHLY Preferred, must be obtained by the time of credentialing BLS/ACLS Certified: REQUIRED Full-Time Availability Starting 8/1/2024: REQUIRED Flu Vaccine: REQUIRED at the time of credentialing COVID Vaccine: Highly preferred If you are a Board-Certified Neurologist seeking a locum tenens opportunity near FORK UNION, VA, we have an immediate need for outpatient coverage starting ASAP. This position offers a supportive environment in an office/ambulatory clinic setting, allowing you to make a positive impact on the community's access to neurology care. We are willing to consider locum to perm candidates for this position. Job Highlights: Outpatient Setting: Enjoy the convenience of a clinic-based practice with no call responsibilities. Collaborative Team: Work alongside 11 physicians and 10 APP's, with a supportive team of ancillary staff. Patient Focus: Support access to care for the community, with an average of 12-16 patients per day. Credentialing Requirements: Active VA License: While highly preferred, we are willing to work with candidates to obtain the necessary licensing by the time of credentialing. Full-Time Availability Starting 8/1/2024: This requirement ensures continuity in patient care and aligns with the facility's staffing needs.
