Locum Tenens Opportunity: Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Needed near Palmer, MI Specialties: Obstetrics and Gynecology Department: Obstetrics and Gynecology Start Date: 06-03-2024 Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Long-Term, Permanent Search End Date: Ongoing Allowed Holidays: Labor Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon), Thanksgiving Day Providers Requested: 1 Physician Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Decision Date: Not Specified EMR System: Cerner Will Facility Accept Multiple Providers?: No Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Is Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required?: Yes Does Provider require hospital/surgery center privileges?: Yes Admissions Required?: Yes Are temporary privileges available?: Yes Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: No Patients Per Shift: 12 clinic/1-2 hospital Bed In Department: 10 Rounding: Both Practice Details: Does your Facility require physicians to be board certified?: Yes Fellowship: N/A Minimum Board Certification: Eligible, Required certifications: BLS License Requirement: Licensed in MI or IMLC Reimbursement for Licensing Costs: No Description/ Other Details: Needing call/clinic coverage once a month for long weekends (Wed/Thurs - Monday/Tuesday). Will need flexibility to cover opposite of department and other locum provider. Delivery Rate: 7 per week OB Unit Beds: 10 plus 2 triage Admissions Rate: 7-10 per week Clinic Patients: Expect to see 12 OB checks in the AM per day Seeking a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for locum tenens coverage near Palmer, MI.
