Patient Care Tech / Health Unit Coordinator

This position may function as both a Patient Care Tech (PCT) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). A Patient Care Tech functions as a clinical support partner assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. A Health Unit Coordinator, under the direction of nursing leadership, facilitates unit organization and patient care by assisting in the coordination of patient, nursing, physician and other health care provider office and clerical activities.

Unit Description : We specialize in Telemetry- monitoring heart rhythms. PCTs are cross-trained to the Telemetry tech role and all RNs are certified in telemetry. We care for a full spectrum of medical issues, including diabetes, infectious diseases, electrolyte imbalances, gastroenterological, respiratory, cardiac, kidney, and liver maladies. We are fast paced with never a dull moment and a fantastic learning opportunity to develop and refine your nursing and critical thinking skills. We have a fun and friendly crew that is team oriented with a wealth of knowledge from many experienced nurses.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$18.22 - $23.68
