Job description
Seeking an experienced Senior GNC Engineer for a contract position focused on developing satellite Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems, working remotely while managing the full lifecycle of development from requirements definition to operations. Key responsibilities Design and implement GNC systems for new spacecraft, including sensors, actuators, algorithms, and flight software Support the development of subsystem requirements and ensure maximum reuse of existing Airbus heritage products Perform GNC system engineering activities to maintain and evolve Airbus spacecraft products while promoting cost-saving measures Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in STEM or related scientific areas; Master's preferred 8+ years of experience in GNC system analysis, design, and verification on spacecraft (6+ years with a Master's) Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and STK for modeling and simulation Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML/UML) and software development processes US Citizenship is required
