Job descriptionDeliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring all medication therapies are optimized for safety and efficacy. Accurately and efficiently dispense prescriptions in accordance with state and federal laws. Perform point-of-care testing and test-to-treat services per Kentucky Board of Pharmacy protocols. Provide education and counseling to patients on medications, wellness, and lifestyle. Genetic testing and personalized medicine programs (with training). Compound customized medications as required. Collaborate closely with prescribers and healthcare partners to improve patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and stay current on pharmacy best practices. Support continuous improvement and operational excellence within the pharmacy. Interest in or willingness to learn compounding, pharmacogenomics, and functional medicine. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Be part of a collaborative team that encourages innovation and professional growth. Work in a modern independent pharmacy offering compounding, genetic testing, and functional medicine programs. Directly impact patients’ lives through personalized care — not just prescriptions (volume is NOT our game here).
