Overview We are seeking a Senior AI Content Strategist, Enterprise and Innovation Products to lead content design and strategy across the full product lifecycle. You will ensure content is brand-aligned, meets technical requirements, is optimized for AI, and supports students throughout their journey. You will also shape EdPlus’ AI content strategy by building and testing AI-powered content tools, refining prompt engineering frameworks, establishing governance for AI-generated content, and mentoring teams on AI content tooling.
Responsibilities Shape and guide the content strategy for enterprise-level, UX-driven digital experiences, including applications, student services and innovation platforms.
Drive the development and execution of content strategy for AI-powered products and tools (e.g., chatbots, personalized digital experiences).
Partner with product, design, engineering and research to create products, design new features and implement content strategies that guide students across critical moments in their journey.
Create, test and refine new custom AI content tools and scalable frameworks that democratize content creation across teams.
Develop and maintain prompt engineering frameworks that ensure brand-aligned, high-quality AI outputs.
Serve as editorial lead for AI-generated content across multiple products, ensuring clarity, accuracy, tone, inclusivity and accessibility.
Establish and oversee AI content governance policies, workflows and standards for quality, accessibility, inclusivity, and brand alignment.
Build modular content systems and centralized libraries for high-use microcopy to build efficiency and consistency.
Train and mentor teams on content best practices and effective use of AI content tools.
Identify, evaluate and recommend emerging AI technologies, balancing innovation with governance and user experience.
Coordinate additional duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience relevant to the area of assignment; OR any equivalent combination of experience and / or training.
Desired Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
Experience leading content strategy and design for large-scale digital products or enterprise systems.
Proven ability to design journey-centric content strategies that improve user experience and align with business goals.
Experience structuring content for AI-powered interfaces (e.g., chatbots, search assistants, retrieval-based systems).
Experience supporting AI model training and optimization using structured content and prompts.
Experience with LLMs and building custom AI tools, including defining instructions and knowledge sources.
Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to improve AI output accuracy and relevance.
Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers and researchers to deliver user-centered products at scale.
Strong understanding of content governance, brand standards, accessibility, inclusivity and QA.
Experience designing modular content systems, libraries or reusable frameworks for consistency and efficiency.
Experience with content performance measurement, A / B testing, UX research and data-driven optimization.
Strong organizational skills and ability to document complex systems and workflows.
Experience collaborating on product deployment and optimization lifecycles, including requirements, prototyping, user flows, and QA.
Passion for working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and for higher education mission-driven work.
Ability to operate with ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
Salary & Benefits Base pay range : $71,500.00 / yr - $82,000.00 / yr
Note : The offered pay range is provided by EdPlus at ASU. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Location & Schedule Location : Scottsdale, Arizona (SkySong, ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center).
EdPlus supports flexible work options, including alternate schedules and hybrid remote work per ASU policy. This is not a fully remote position.
