Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, BLS certification, and active CA licensure for a day shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital nuclear medicine department
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • 13-week contract with 5x8 hour shifts
  • PET procedures required
  • Utilizes Cerner EMR; Cerner experience required
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
  • No RTO allowed within the first two weeks of assignment
  • Maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred; all RTO must be confirmed prior to submission and is not changeable after submission
  • Candidates who have previously worked as travelers must have a minimum 1-year break before returning
  • There is no blocked or self-scheduling
  • Compliance modules are completed pre-start and annually, with hours self-reported
  • Scrub dress code required per hospital policy

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Active CA State License required in hand at time of application; license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • PET scan experience required
  • Cerner charting experience required
  • Preferred : NMTCB and ARRT(N) certifications
  • At least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting
  • Two supervisory references required for consideration
  • Must pass an EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
  • All certifications must be current and in hand before applying
