Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will have complete involvement in routine or emergency maintenance as well as corrective, preventive, predictive maintenance and basic care for all electrical and mechanical equipment and their related controls.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe working environment by supporting, sustaining, and troubleshooting safety circuits while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Maintain and up-keep machinery control panels and control systems.
- Troubleshoot high- and low-voltage circuits, analog devices, VFDs, motor controls, drives, and PLC systems to determine root causes of failures.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot AC/DC drives and PLC hardware/software.
- Utilize RSLogix, Studio 5000, SLC500, HMI and related drive interface software (experience is a plus).
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, including belts, gearboxes, chains, motors, and bearings.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems and related components.
- Work with steam‑generating boiler electrical controls and safety system.
- Perform regular repair and maintenance activities across non-production areas such as warehouses, labs, buildings, and grounds.
- Use a CMMS for work orders, documentation, and tracking daily activities and planned projects.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience (strong electrical focus preferred).
- Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including drives, PLCs, VFDs, servos, relays, 3‑phase power, communication devices, and industrial control systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical control systems down to the component level.
- Strong mechanical and electrical problem‑solving abilities.
- Understanding of heavy rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Working knowledge of motors, pumps, gearboxes, power transmission systems, and bearings.
- Familiarity with sensors, limit switches, and general automation components.
- Basic welding skills preferred but not required.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Provide knowledgeable feedback, written statements and SOP’s
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, or extended hours as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or military training preferred.

The starting rate is $36 -$45 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 5 days of paid vacation, and 9 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
