Job description
To support patient registration and insurance verification, the full-time remote Access Services Representative 1 will conduct patient interviews, collect demographic and financial data, and assist with payment arrangements while ensuring compliance with healthcare policies. Key responsibilities Conducts patient interviews to gather demographic and financial information for registration and insurance verification Registers patients across multiple locations and identifies process improvement opportunities to enhance patient flow and experience Verifies insurance eligibility, calculates patient dues, and negotiates payment arrangements as necessary Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent Less than 1 year of relevant experience Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong listening and communication skills, with a focus on customer service
