Patent Prosecution Docketing Paralegal

Overview

We are a leading Intellectual Property law firm looking to add an Experienced Patent Prosecution Docketing Paralegal to our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time remote role. Candidates must reside in Texas to be considered.

Base pay range : $78,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr. Compensation may vary based on skills and experience; discuss with the recruiter.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the IP docketing database by reviewing and extracting information from incoming communications.
• Track intellectual property matter deadlines in accordance with PTO rules and client-specific guidelines.
• Verify and docket filings and other patent prosecution processes.
• Coordinate and communicate with the team to ensure all docketing tasks are covered.
• Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure dockets are current and accurate.
• Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex patent prosecution tasks.
• Ensure accuracy in calculating due dates and proofreading legal documents.

This role is a full-time remote position. The successful candidate will manage our patent prosecution docketing system and work closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure dockets are current and accurate.
