Trade Compliance Counsel

Seeking a Trade Compliance Counsel to support international trade compliance initiatives for a leading global manufacturing client, this full-time remote position will manage customs operations, oversee tariff execution, and provide guidance on U.S. and Mexican import/export regulations. Key responsibilities: Lead customs operations and international trade compliance initiatives across U.S. and Mexican manufacturing operations Oversee tariff execution activities, including tariff impact assessments and implementation strategies Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance policies, procedures, and scalable compliance processes Required qualifications: Proven experience leading international trade compliance or customs operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of U.S. and Mexican import/export regulations, customs compliance, and cross-border trade requirements Demonstrated experience with HTS classification, customs broker oversight, and tariff execution Experience supporting Mexico import operations, including IMMEX/Maquila programs and customs broker controls Experience developing, implementing, or managing trade compliance programs, policies, and procedures
