Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues for DDC controls and mechanical systems. Ensure all installation activities are performed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of installation processes and project progress. Communicate regularly with the team (supervisor, project coordinator, account managers) and clients. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes. Required Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of HVAC DDC Control Theory & Applications. Proficiency in Alerton, Distech, or Tridium programming. Proficiency or certifications in Alerton, Distech, Siemens, JCI Metasys, or Tridium are highly sought after. Familiarity with electronics and basic electrical circuits. Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities. Proficiency in computer hardware and software. Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Travel within the region up to 75% of the time. Qualifications and Experience: AA degree in applied technology (preferred). Certifications in Alerton, Distech, Siemens, JCI Metasys, or Tridium are highly preferred. Alternatively, a combination of relevant education and experience. Prior experience with HVAC and/or mechanical systems in building automation systems. Computer programming experience is a plus. Proven experience in troubleshooting. Compensation & Benefits: $80k-$120k per year, based on experience and qualifications. Fully paid medical, dental, prescription, and vision coverage. Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 100% company-funded Life insurance, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance. Generous paid vacation time and holidays. Additional benefits include Teladoc, TriaHealth, and legal and identity theft protection services. Company-matched 401(k) and IRA retirement plans. Per-diem allowances for overnight travel. Reimbursement for travel time and mileage when using a personal vehicle. Why Join Us: This is more than a Systems Specialist role—it's a chance to become a trusted technical leader in the Building Automation Systems (BAS) space. You'll work hands-on with Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, and enterprise-level BAS platforms, travel nationwide on impactful projects, and see the direct results of your expertise in the field.
