Job description
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for aFinisher.

Position Type: Full Time Contract, Contract to hire
Duration: 12 months
Location: Amityville, NY 11701

As a Finisher, you will:
  • Any finishing/painting in the Autobody industry (Sanding/masking/protective tape/finishing).
  • People that have worked construction have also worked out (Sheetrocking).
  • Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPE.
  • Basic computer skills/literate – able to follow work instructions, enter timecard online etc., windows/MS office.
  • Initiates proper procedures in coating materials to various surfaces by spraying with a spray gun.
  • Must have experience with the proper surface preparation methods and coating techniques.
  • Takes measures to ensure item is properly coated and meets surface protection requirements.
  • Read and understand detailed blueprints and operation instructions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills & to manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Apply various sealants and adhesives and ensure integrity per work instruction (process standards).
  • Observe industry best practices for FOD, 5S, and material handling controls.
  • Highly developed support individual contributor Works autonomously.
  • Makes recommendations for solution.
  • Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPE.
  • Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing principles within an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
  • Ensure that all shop instruments and materials used are within calibration.

Ideal candidate will have
  • High School Diploma with 2 – 5 years’ experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $25-$27 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
