Job description
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Why This Is a Great Opportunity Join a stable, family-owned commercial GC with long-term repeat clients and a strong regional reputation Run field operations on meaningful projects (medical, retail, municipal, office, industrial) with real autonomy Work with a team that values quality, safety, and organized execution — not constant fire drills Strong project pipeline across CT/MA/RI and a company built for long-term careers Location: On-site role based out of Mansfield, CT with local project travel (no relocation).Note: Must have 4+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience, permanent U.S. work authorization, and proven ability to run the field (subs, schedule, safety, quality) from start to finish . About Our Client Our client is a well-respected, family-owned general contractor serving the Northeast. They deliver commercial, retail, industrial, educational, religious, medical, and municipal projects and are known for long-standing client relationships and consistent repeat business. Job Description Lead on-site execution for commercial construction projects from mobilization through closeout Manage subcontractors and daily field activities to hit schedule, quality, and safety targets Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and turnover with a strong focus on quality control Partner closely with the Project Manager on planning, logistics, and change management Run jobsite meetings, drive accountability, and remove roadblocks quickly Maintain jobsite documentation (daily reports, progress photos, safety logs) using Procore or similar Enforce OSHA best practices and maintain a clean, professional jobsite Qualifications 4+ years as a lead Superintendent on commercial construction projects Experience managing multiple trades, schedules, and field logistics in live environments Strong understanding of drawings, specs, sequencing, and construction means/methods Procore (or similar) preferred Strong communication, leadership, and calm problem-solving style College degree not required; field leadership experience is the priority Local to the Mansfield, CT area (no relocation) Permanent U.S. work authorization required Why You Will Love Working Here Family-owned culture with stability, respect, and long-term relationships Strong standards and repeat clients that make projects smoother and more predictable Variety of work (medical, retail, municipal, office, industrial) without constant traveling far away Leadership that values organized supers who run clean, safe, high-quality jobsites JPC-659 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
