Job description
Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM/VMD) Position Overview A full-service small animal hospital in Dallas is seeking a compassionate Urgent Care Veterinarian to support expanded evening hours (until 11:00 PM). This opportunity is ideal for both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates seeking mentorship, clinical growth, and flexible scheduling within a collaborative and well-equipped environment. Key Responsibilities Provide urgent care services, wellness exams, diagnostics, and surgery Deliver high-quality patient care using advanced medical technology Build strong relationships with a diverse and engaged client base Collaborate with veterinary and support teams on treatment plans Work scheduled shifts between 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM, including evenings Practice Environment Full-service small animal hospital with urgent care services Modern facility with advanced diagnostic and surgical tools Supportive, team-oriented culture focused on preventive and surgical care Mentorship, continuing education, and career development opportunities Qualifications DVM/VMD degree Eligibility for U.S. veterinary licensure Experience in preventive care, general surgery, and dentistry preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting Availability for evening shifts Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay with sign-on and retention bonuses No negative accrual Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with 2% company match CE allowance + CE PTO Student loan assistance Paid licensure and DEA fees Professional liability coverage PTO, parental leave, wellness support, uniform allowance, and employee discounts
