Qualified Candidates : Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine Excellent clinical and communication skills Part-time flexible scheduling available Incentives / Benefits : Excellent compensation CME / dues allowance Optimal staffing ratios with flexible and equitable scheduling options Be part of a supportive and energetic team About our Fredericksburg Emergency Department : Fully integrated department of Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, our 133 bed hospital in Fredericksburg, VA 8,500 anticipated ER visits / approximately 23 visits per day 24 hours of physician coverage - 7 am - 7 pm 10,000 square feet Fully equipped trauma bay Separate adult and pediatric waiting area 11 private treatment rooms State of the art imaging, including CT, ultrasound and radiology Ambulance bay for EMS access Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists About our community : Fredericksburg is conveniently located one hour south of Washington, D.C. and one hour north of Richmond, VA, in one of the most rapidly growing areas of the country.
