Join Child Serve as a Medical Childcare Assistant and contribute to the great life of children and young adults by supporting their health, growth, and skill development. In this role, you will provide care and assist with treatment services outlined in each child's individualized care plan. You will also collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of nurses and therapists to promote each child's development and skill retention.
About Child Serve's Medical Childcare Program:
Child Serve's Medical Childcare program provides specialized weekday care for children and teens with significant medical needs and developmental delays, offering a uniquely integrated model of nursing, education, and therapy. Our program is staffed by specially trained caregivers who work alongside nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans built into the dayallowing families to spend time together after work and school, rather than managing multiple appointments. Child-centered and goal-driven, our program helps children build self-confidence, social competence and life skills in a safe, inspiring environment.
Schedule and Location
This position is located at our NEW Des Moines location! 1750 48th Street Des Moines, IA. Flexible hours, with a high need for availability between 3-6 PM. Our center is open Monday-Friday between 7 AM and 6 PM.

Compensation
The starting pay for this position is $14.02/hour. This role is eligible for a $500 hiring bonus (paid out at 90 days) for new hires able to work a minimum of 9 hours per week during the closing of 3-6pm shift.
