Job Summary
Lamar Estates Long Term Care is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our therapy team. The OTA works under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help residents improve independence with daily activities and enhance overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility
Monitor resident progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist
Educate residents on adaptive equipment and safety techniques
Maintain accurate therapy documentation
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Qualifications
Current OTA license in the state of Colorado
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
