Job Summary
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional outpatient client care in a collaborative setting. In this role, you will utilize your advanced practice skills to diagnose, treat, and consult with patients in the field of mental health. Responsibilities :
Provides professional clinical services, in the area of mental health, to patients in accordance with all applicable standards of professional conduct, and applicable laws and regulationsPromptly and thoroughly completes all medical records and any duties necessary to enable and facilitate billing and overall administration in accordance with all applicable standards of professional conduct, and all applicable laws and regulationsConducts comprehensive and / or focused assessments, monitors patients’ progress and provides relevant patient educationMakes referrals as needed to other health professionals and community agenciesParticipates, fully and timely, in quality improvement processes as applicableSeeks out and attends appropriate continuing education courses to keep up to date on knowledgeParticipates, fully and timely, in credentialing processes, including CAQHExceptional clinical and boundary-setting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team productively and effectivelyRequirements :
Clinical Experience :
Minimum of one year of previous group practice experience (or related outpatient practice experience)Education :
Master’s degree from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse schoolCertifications :
Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws in MinnesotaPossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws in MinnesotaPossess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe controlled substancesAbility to possess and maintain adequate / required Professional Liability Insurance policyComply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations, including, but not limited to registration and usePossess and maintain all accreditations, certifications, and credentials necessary and appropriate to enable nurse practitioner to perform and to bill for services providedRemain a Medicare and Medicaid Provider in MinnesotaAdditional benefits & compensation information :
Our pay structures are commissions-based / net-collections and compensation is based on billable services.Full benefits package available for W2 Employees billing an average of 24+ sessions / week.Please note : We do not offer salaried positions.
