Arubah Emotional Health Services is a trusted mental health provider serving children and adults across Minneapolis. We offer high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Psychiatric Provider to join our team on a contractual basis to support medication management and psychiatric evaluations.

We are hiring anIndependent Contractor Psychiatric Provider (PMHNP, Psychiatrist, or similarly licensed professional) to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to clients ages 5 and up. Services will be delivered both in-person at our North Minneapolis office and via telehealth.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about improving healthcare delivery while leading a dedicated team of professionals.

Duties

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for children (ages 5+) and adults.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using your own Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Provide culturally sensitive, person-centered psychiatric care.
  • Collaborate with Arubahs administrative team for scheduling, referrals, and client communication.

Qualifications :

  • Active and unrestricted license to practice psychiatry or as a PMHNP in the State of Minnesota
  • Minimum of 3 years experience providing psychiatric services to children and / or adults
  • Must provide and maintain professional liability insurance (proof required annually)
  • Ability to use your own EHR system for documentation and record-keeping
  • Commitment to confidentiality, client-centered care, and professionalism
  • Experience working with diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds required.

    • Support Provided by Arubah :

  • New client referrals and assignments
  • Intake and pre-appointment client communication (intake packet, insurance verification, EHR input)
  • Appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
  • Insurance support for billing and reimbursement

    • Job Types : Part-Time

    Pay : 85 / 15 revenue split (Provider retains 85% of reimbursed services for clients assigned through Arubah). Payment is based on billable and reimbursed services

    Contract Details :

  • Independent contractor position (not W-2 employment)
  • Flexible schedule; provider sets availability
  • Open-ended contract with option to terminate by mutual agreement
