Job descriptionOversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance for all site operations. Conduct and document daily EHS inspections and audits. Deliver bilingual (English / Spanish) project-specific safety orientations and trainings. Participate in and facilitate the Daily Hazard Analysis (DHA) process. Coordinate with trade partners on crane activities and high-risk operations. Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective / preventative actions. Collaborate closely with project leadership to promote an injury-free work culture. Collect and analyze leading and lagging indicators to identify trends and drive proactive improvements. Review and assist in developing EHS plans, procedures, and risk assessments. Ensure subcontractor compliance with site-specific EHS requirements. Verify that all craft workers are trained and qualified for their assigned tasks. Partner with trade contractor EHS professionals and lead project safety leadership meetings. Serve as liaison with the client’s risk management and corporate EHS teams. Deliver toolbox talks and specialized safety modules as needed. Support and help manage a positive reinforcement and recognition program. 7+ years of EHS experience in construction, preferably in data center or industrial projects. Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). BCSP certification (e.g., ASP, CSP, CHST, STSC) required. OSHA 500 / 510 certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree (BS / MS) in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital safety management tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse field teams. Experience managing safety on complex, multi-contractor projects. Impartir orientaciones y capacitaciones de seguridad bilingües (inglés y español) específicas del proyecto. Participar y facilitar el proceso diario de Análisis de Riesgos de Tareas (AHA o JHA) . Coordinar actividades de grúas y operaciones críticas con los contratistas. Investigar incidentes para determinar causas raíz e implementar acciones correctivas y preventivas. Colaborar estrechamente con el equipo de liderazgo del proyecto para fomentar una cultura de “Cero Lesiones”. Recopilar y analizar indicadores proactivos y reactivos para identificar tendencias y proponer mejoras. Revisar y apoyar el desarrollo de planes y procedimientos EHS del proyecto. Asegurar el cumplimiento de los subcontratistas con los requisitos de seguridad del sitio. Verificar que todos los trabajadores estén debidamente capacitados y certificados para las tareas asignadas. Colaborar con los representantes de seguridad de los contratistas y dirigir reuniones de liderazgo de seguridad. Actuar como enlace con el equipo de gestión de riesgos del cliente y con el departamento EHS corporativo. Impartir charlas de seguridad y módulos de capacitación especializados según sea necesario. Apoyar y administrar un programa de refuerzo positivo y reconocimiento de buenas prácticas. Más de 7 años de experiencia en EHS dentro del sector de la construcción, preferiblemente en proyectos de centros de datos o industriales. Bilingüe (inglés y español) – requisito indispensable. Certificación BCSP obligatoria (ASP, CSP, CHST o STSC). Certificación OSHA 500 / 510 preferida. Título universitario (Licenciatura o Maestría) en Seguridad Industrial, Ciencias Ambientales o campo relacionado. Conocimientos avanzados de Microsoft Office y herramientas digitales de gestión de seguridad. Excelentes habilidades interpersonales y de comunicación con capacidad para interactuar con equipos diversos en obra.

Position Summary
SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced and bilingual Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to support a high-profile data center construction project in Sterling, Virginia.
This position requires a hands-on safety professional with a minimum of 7 years of construction safety experience and a Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) credential (e.g., ASP, CSP, CHST, or STSC). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and technical skills in overseeing EHS compliance, training, and incident prevention on large-scale construction projects.
