As an Environmental Plant Worker, you will learn the safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste. You'll learn how its handled safely, where it goes, and how we help keep these materials out of landfills and water supplies. In this role, you will separate and pack hazardous material for transport and you'll be trained to complete the required documentation in accordance with our practices and procedures.

The position is for the 3rd Saturday of each month from April to October. The event hours are 8 : 30am to 1 : 00pm. The staff would need to be on site at 7 : 00am until 3 : 00pm. Required : steel toe boots / shoes, long pants, work shirt, and safety glasses. Will be sorting and bulking paint.

Qualifications :

Our qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or GED.

Preferred qualifications include :

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Ability to follow procedures and pay attention to details

Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time

Warehouse experience is a plus

By law, you must be 18 years of age.
