Bilingual Care Coordinator – Remote

Pay : $17 / hr
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00am–5 : 00pm (OT based on business needs)
Contract Length : 6-month contract with potential to extend or convert to FTE
Training : Attendance required for first 90 days (no PTO permitted during core training)
About the Role
The Bilingual Care Coordinator supports administrative care management activities, providing outreach and assistance to members, caregivers, and providers to ensure quality service and resource access. This role handles inbound and outbound calls, scheduling, documentation, and coordination of care-related support. This is a fully remote position; however, all applicants must currently live in McAllen, TX .
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound outreach calls to members to provide education, address care plan next steps, and connect members to health plan and community resources.Answer inbound calls from members and providers and serve as a frontline support representative for questions, scheduling needs, or care-related concerns.Assist members in navigating benefits, referrals, and resource access supporting Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) needs.Support onboarding activities including sending welcome letters, program materials, and educational resources.Maintain accurate documentation of non-clinical member records in accordance with state and regulatory standards.Provide ongoing support during transitions of care and education to caregivers and members.Participate in daily team huddles, weekly meetings, and monthly / bi-monthly 1 : 1s.Perform additional administrative duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.Required Qualifications
Must reside in McAllen, TexasBilingual (Spanish / English) – Required1–2 years of related experience in health insurance, care coordination, medical office, or similar healthcare supportHigh School diploma or GEDExperience with Microsoft OfficeAbility to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable with heavy phone-based work (inbound and outbound calls)Preferred Skills
