Branch Manager
How will you CONTRIBUTE
and GROW?
The Branch Manager is responsible for all critical issues of the branch, including sales, sales growth, budgeting, gross margins, managing direct reports, and all operational expenses.
Other key areas of responsibility include safety, customer service, inventory levels and resolution of personnel issues.
Assist outside salespersons in preparing quotes, maintaining all required literature, providing customer follow-up, and gathering sales leads.
Schedule and follow-up on deliveries, pre-call customers before scheduled deliveries. Control costs and monitor fiscal performance compared to budget.
Maintain a store in a clean and orderly manner. Schedule staffing to ensure excellent customer service at all times.

In particular, you will :
Evaluate and monitor day-to-day activities of the branch to ensure cost effective operations and a safe and productive work environment.
Establish and maintain clear and consistent lines of communication with direct reports and internal departments relative to customer successes, customer failures, new customer developments and other customer specific information
Manages all branch personnel in accordance with company policies by hiring, training, motivating, planning and directing work.
Provide performance feedback and development opportunities.
Accurately complete and submit all sales-related paperwork (e.g., shippers, invoices, cylinder audits, month-end reports, cash reconciliations, deposits, etc.) in a timely manner
Participates in the preparation of market and competitor information and annual sales analysis and forecast.
Works in accordance with all policies and procedures and rules as prescribed by State, Federal and the Company.

Previous management experience in a customer facing environment
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
Proficient computer skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred :
3+ years’ experience in the welding or safety industry
5+ years’ experience in sales with proven success
Pay range : $75-85K plus quarterly gainshare bonus potential

Incentive pay : This position is eligible for incentive compensation in the following program : quarterly bonus program
