About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our HVAC team in New York. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a passion for collaboration, and a desire to lead impactful projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HVAC design for tenant fit-outs and infrastructure upgrades, including riser diagrams, equipment layouts, and specifications.Develop design criteria and basis-of-design documentation aligned with project goals.Produce comprehensive contract documents, including layouts for mechanical rooms, shafts, and risers.Design ancillary systems such as UPS, generators, fuel oil systems, and water reclamation systems.Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and perform punch-list inspections.Support project scheduling and resource planning to ensure timely and efficient delivery.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.3+ years of relevant experience in HVAC design and project coordination.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC design calculations.Strong understanding of mechanical codes, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.What We Offer
