Accounting Manager – NOW CFO

Our expert team helps identify, solve, and streamline accounting and finance challenges for businesses across every industry.

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a client engagement and provide hands-on accounting leadership.. This is a full-time, W-2 position with NOW CFO offering the opportunity to manage diverse accounting projects and partner directly with executive teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for client engagements

Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting

Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control standards

Partner with clients to troubleshoot accounting challenges and present actionable solutions

Support and develop accounting staff within assigned projects

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public or private); prior management experience preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Proficiency in modern accounting systems and reporting tools

Highly organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
