Vice President Of Payer Contracting
Ascension is seeking a Vice President of Payer Contracting to lead regional payer strategy and revenue performance. This role offers the opportunity to shape reimbursement models, strengthen payer relationships, and drive growth across multiple markets.

Responsibilities
Lead payer contracting and relations across a defined region encompassing multiple market ministries. Set revenue strategies and achieve payer contracting and revenue objectives.
Provide leadership for contracting processes and payer relations throughout the region and its markets.
Implement enterprise standards and processes to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and strategies.
Assess opportunities for optimizing overall revenue across the payer product lines and network platform hierarchy.
Partner with Data Analytics to measure value, essentiality and desirability in payer networks, developing strategies to better measure and improve them. Align national, regional and ministry strategic plans.
Monitor and analyze financial results focused on net patient services revenue performance.
Maintain knowledge on percent of charge models and charge captures, prospective payment systems, and fixed fee schedules. Understand the current and desired levels of reimbursement and growth among inpatient, hospital outpatient, physician / clinic, ambulatory surgery centers, and ancillary community services.
Build relationships with executive leadership. Partner with Managed Care market teams on relationships with ministry leadership.
Requirements
Education :
Associate's degree / Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership / management.
