Legal Assistant - Family Law

We're working with a client in Concord who's looking to bring on a Legal Assistant with experience in Family Law . This is a full-time opportunity supporting attorneys with case preparation, document handling, and client communication in a busy legal environment.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Opening and closing case files
• Performing conflict checks and preparing engagement letters
• Filing documents accurately and maintaining case organization
• Scheduling appointments and court dates
• Organizing discovery materials and preparing exhibit notebooks
• Drafting general correspondence and formatting legal documents
• Communicating with clients, potential new clients, and opposing counsel via phone and email
• Supporting attorneys with trial prep and hearing materials
• Assisting with other practice areas, including Workers' Compensation
