About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)

Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years in Emergency Department

License : NC or Compact license required before start

Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB (facility will offer MOAB class)

Must-Have :

Minimum of 2 years experience in Emergency Department.

Ability to start IVs, perform triage, and manage telemetry.

Experience with conscious sedation and interpretation of dysrhythmias.

Accepted first-time travelers and locals.

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation.

Target patient ratios are 1 : 4 with assignments adjusting based on acuity.

Shift is 12-hour nights, with a requirement for every other weekend.

Special procedures include stroke certification and chest pain certification.

The facility gives t-Pa and transfers for STEMI cases.

No trauma, dialysis, or pediatrics services; all require transfer.

The unit serves the entire age spectrum from neonates to geriatrics.

Nurses, CNAs, paramedics, and dedicated charge nurses are available 24 / 7.

The cath lab performs interventions onsite.

Unit uses Alaris IV pumps and has a Pyxis medication system.

All required skills include critical care experience and trauma familiarity.

Preferred certifications include ENPC and TNCC.

Candidates must pass EKG testing before starting in this specialty.

Travelers must work two out of three major holidays.

No RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment.
