Position Summary

Provides high quality patient care in their respective specialty to patients. Collaborates and works effectively with other providers and staff to provide effective team based medical care.

Primary Position Responsibilities

2. Applies effective interpersonal skills, demonstrates professional skills in the knowledge of their specialty, Is able to work effectively to provide coat efficient and timely quality medical care to patients.

3. Collaborates with the lead physician and administrative staff to develop and implement medical protocols and quality initiatives within the practice.

4. Uses effective communication skills with the patients and staff. Follows proper organizational communication lines to address matters pertaining to the job functions including proper reporting relationships

5. Responsibilities include adhering to physician directives for patient care, which will or may involve office visits, prescribing medication, medication refills, post-surgical follow-up, and hospital rounding and other related duties to patient care.

6. Duties are subject to change as needs and requirements change.

Qualifications

Minimum Education : Required :

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Preferred :

Masters Degree Nursing

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) :

Required :

2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner

Preferred :

Experience in preferred specialty- Breast

License, Registry or Certification :

Required :

Current, valid RN and APN license from the State of NJ, Division of Consumer Affairs.

Preferred :

CPR, ACLS certified

Knowledge, Skills and / or Abilities :

Required :

Strong Medical Knowledge Base in requisite specialty, Interpersonal skills and management ability provide patient care.

Preferred :

Previous practice experience.
