Job description
We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for experienced Financial Managers to support a leading AI research lab working on next-generation machine learning systems. This project focuses on applying real-world financial management expertise to help AI teams better understand and solve domain-specific challenges. Professionals in this role will contribute their industry knowledge by creating realistic tasks and scenarios based on common requests and workflows within financial management. Key Responsibilities Create structured tasks and deliverables based on real requests within the financial management domain Contribute professional expertise to help diagnose and solve real-world financial management challenges Provide detailed written explanations reflecting industry practices and financial decision-making processes Support AI research teams by modelling realistic financial management scenarios Ensure tasks reflect authentic professional workflows and domain-specific reasoning Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have: 4+ years of professional experience in financial management, corporate finance, or related roles Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and financial operations Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and clarity Ability to translate real-world financial workflows into structured tasks and scenarios Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate domain-specific reasoning Educational Background: Background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred Nice to Have Experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or financial operations Familiarity with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes Experience explaining complex financial concepts clearly and concisely Experience participating in training, documentation, or knowledge-sharing initiatives Why This Opportunity Contribute financial management expertise to cutting-edge AI research initiatives Help improve AI systems understanding of real financial workflows and decision-making Work with leading AI labs advancing next-generation machine learning systems Flexible remote work with competitive hourly compensation Contract Details Independent contractor role Fully remote with flexible scheduling Expected workload: ~15 hours per week (potential to scale up to 30+ hours) Project duration: approximately 3–4 weeks Competitive rates between $90–$150/hour depending on expertise Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise Projects may extend or adjust depending on scope and performance About the Platform This opportunity is available through a leading AI-driven work platform.
