Job description
Quality Manager | Wyoming, MI Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience Are you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding opportunity in {{role_field}}? The Opportunity We are working with companies in Wyoming that are adding Quality Managers to their teams. These organizations value quality over speed in hiring. By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). Oversee all product inspection, testing, and quality control processes. Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Manage supplier quality performance and incoming material inspections. Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for product and process quality. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Strong understanding and practical application of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor quality teams and drive continuous improvement. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) Certification as a Lead Auditor for a relevant industry standard (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485) Proven experience with supplier quality management and development programs Familiarity with automation and Industry 4.0 integration within quality systems Job Titles That Should Apply Quality Assurance Manager, QA Manager, Director of Quality, Head of Quality, Quality Control Manager, Senior Quality Manager, Quality Systems Manager, Quality Operations Manager, VP of Quality Why Pivot Group The Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
