Job descriptionJOB OVERVIEW: Join a growing aseptic beverage manufacturing facility as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, and mechanical systems Support production by diagnosing and repairing equipment failures Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Read and interpret equipment manuals and process diagrams Assist with root cause troubleshooting and continuous improvement Follow all GMP, safety, and environmental guidelines Support facility maintenance and minor building repairs as needed QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of industrial maintenance or mechanical experience Experience working in a manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting skills with industrial mechanical equipment Ability to read equipment manuals and technical documentation High School Diploma or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in food or beverage manufacturing Experience in a GMP-regulated environment Familiarity with P&IDs and process flow diagrams Experience with multiple trades such as HVAC, compressors, refrigeration, or welding PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Must Have: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience with: Preventative and predictive maintenance Troubleshooting production equipment Motors, pumps, valves, and gearboxes Mechanical repairs on industrial machinery High school diploma or equivalent required. GMP / Regulated Environment: The client prefers candidates with experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environments. Common industries with GMP experience include: Food manufacturing Beverage manufacturing Pharmaceutical production Nutraceutical or supplement manufacturing Cosmetics production Note: Some candidates may have this experience but may not recognize the term GMP, so ask about sanitation standards, audits, and regulated production environments. Multi-Trade Maintenance Role This position is looking for a well-rounded maintenance technician who is comfortable working across multiple systems. Exposure to any of the following is helpful: Electrical systems HVAC Boilers Compressors Refrigeration Welding Plumbing Wastewater systems Food processing equipment The candidate does not need to be an expert in all areas, but should be comfortable working around multiple systems. Documentation & Compliance This facility places strong emphasis on documentation and compliance. Technicians will be expected to: Document preventative maintenance Maintain repair and maintenance logs Follow change management procedures Work within SOPs and quality guidelines Candidates who have worked in regulated or audited manufacturing environments tend to adapt best.
