Job description
Plant Manager | Jenison, MI Salary Range: $140,000 - $191,000 depending on experience Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for leading manufacturing operations and driving plant performance? Key Responsibilities Direct and optimize all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics. Develop and manage the plant budget, ensuring cost efficiency and resource allocation. Implement and enforce robust safety protocols and quality control standards across all shifts. Lead, mentor, and develop plant personnel, fostering a high-performance and engaged culture. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency. Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and company policies. Oversee equipment maintenance and facility management to maximize uptime and operational reliability. Recommended Qualifications Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in driving operational excellence, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership and people management skills, including talent development and performance management. Demonstrated ability to manage plant budgets, P&L, and achieve financial targets. Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and quality systems (e.g., ISO) within a manufacturing environment.
