Maintenance Technician | Manistee, MI Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for keeping equipment running and minimizing downtime? The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment malfunctions. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with production personnel to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Demonstrated experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex machinery. Adherence to safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Relevant technical degree or certification, or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing setting. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting. Certified in welding and fabrication. Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Familiarity with industrial robotics or automation systems.
