Job description
Plant Manager | Spring Lake, MI Salary Range: $139,000 - $190,000 depending on experience Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for leading manufacturing operations and driving plant performance? The Pivot Group is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships and supporting career advancement. We are collaborating with leading companies in Spring Lake seeking experienced Plant Managers. The Opportunity We are working with companies in Spring Lake that are adding Plant Managers to their teams. These organizations value quality over speed in hiring. Key Responsibilities Direct and optimize daily plant operations to meet production targets and quality standards. Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage plant budget, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements. Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, fostering a high-performance and engaged culture. Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) across all manufacturing processes. Maintain product quality standards and oversee quality control processes. Oversee maintenance and reliability programs for all plant machinery and infrastructure. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, including P&L responsibility. Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams in a high-volume production environment. Strong understanding and commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
