Job description
Manufacturing Engineer | Whitehall, MI Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes and improving production efficiency? The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Whitehall that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. Design, procure, and qualify production tooling, fixtures, and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, improving yield and reducing downtime. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on cost reduction, waste elimination, and process enhancements. Support new product introduction (NPI) from design concept through full-scale production. Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications. Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, including process development and optimization. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis. Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions. Experience with tooling design, fixture design, and equipment specification.
