To support a package delivery and supply chain management company, the hybrid contract Accountant will apply customer payments, reconcile accounts, and analyze customer credits while working in Alpharetta, GA. Key responsibilities Apply customer payments accurately and timely to accounts receivable balances Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate account balances and resolve outstanding discrepancies Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable Required qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 2+ years of accounts receivable, cash application, or accounting experience preferred Understanding of accounts receivable processes, account reconciliations, and billing and/or collections Experience applying customer payments through various methods including ACH and credit card transactions Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
