Shop Manager | Holland, MI Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for excelling in shop manager? The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled Shop Managers. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely. Manage, train, and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high product standards. Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the shop floor. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Optimize workflow and resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize waste. Maintain accurate production records and generate reports on key performance indicators. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in a manufacturing shop floor environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent understanding of production processes and quality control. Experience with inventory management and supply chain principles. Proficiency in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs.
